michaelbully Mesmerising and disturbing album. Really pushes the frontiers of dark ambient to the limits. A real nightmare soundtrack. Depicts climate change stimulating a legion of plagues to crush any chance of human herd immunity. This is frightening and awesome. Favorite track: Apocalyptic Episodes: Vol.1- Swarm of the Dead.

The album opens with the track, Patient Zero, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song is a haunting and eerie track that describes the first person to be infected with the virus. The next track, Beginning, is a slower, more somber song that describes the initial outbreak of the virus and the chaos that ensues. The third track, Evolving, is a stoner-paced, dark-energy track that describes the virus’s evolution and the spread of the undead. The fourth track, Dominating, is a heavy and intense track that represents the zombies’ domination over the world. The fifth and final track, Endless Ignorance (Of Human Race), is a slow and melancholic song that describes the aftermath of the apocalypse and the ignorance of humanity that led to its downfall.

about

“Apocalyptic Episodes: Vol. 1 - Swarm of the Dead”

The album is set in a world where climate change has caused the permafrost in Siberia to melt, revealing ancient viruses that were once thought to be extinct. Scientists in a lab discover something horrifying about these viruses, but it’s too late to warn the world. The viruses have already spread and turned people into zombies. The album follows the journey of a group of survivors as they try to navigate through the post-apocalyptic world filled with the undead.

The album is a cinematic dark ambient with downtempo and heavy atmosphere with industrial noises and apocalyptic soundscapes. The music is contemporary and moody with gloomy feelings. The album consists of one track with a playing time of 42 minutes.
